When you think “Festival Fashion,” Coachella is pretty much the king. Especially With all the young Hollywood stars obsessed with it. That dusty desert becomes the stage to compete on who got the best Boho look.
I have never been to Coachella (YET!) but I love all the different festivals around me. In Michigan there are a lot of things going on during the non winter seasons. I just went to the Tulip Festival and plan to go to the Craft Beer Festival and Cherry Festival. You see, there are plenty of opportunities for us to show off our beloved Boho style.
How to put together a stunning festival look? Well, you just need a few things:
First, a floral silky kimono. The flowy movement and the colorful prints add on just the right amount of Boho vibe to your look. If yours has fringe on it, that will be even better. 😉
Second, a pair of jeans or jean shorts. It all depends on the temperature. If you live in a warm area, then jean shorts are a must. Again, to create this care free Boho vibe, the more distressed, the better. The same goes for the jeans. It doesn’t matter whether boyfriend jeans, skinny or even flare, all will do the job.
Third, a hat. It can be a floppy hat or a fedora, but if it’s decorated with some beads or feathers you’ll earn bonus Boho (Bohonus?)points!
Fourth, a pair of earth tone sandals or flats, and leave the heels for the night out. The bottom line is to be comfy and stylish.
And last but not least, A LOT OF arm candy! For the bracelets, bigger is better! Pile 3 or 4 on each arm or just one arm. Now add on rings and a necklace or four and you are ready to rock!
