Tignanello leather bag review and fashion linkup
Well? Shopping all done? Presents all wrapped? Yeah, me neither. Well, actually I did pretty good this year. I started my Christmas shopping right after Thanksgiving and now I already received most of the gifts. I just need to wrap them. We’ve even done some of that but still have a few to go. The tree will look even better when all the gifts are placed underneath it. 😉 How is your preparation for the big holiday going? Hey, there’s no need to panic. I mean there’s still plenty of time. After all, Christmas is…let me look at my calendar…oh. IT’S THE END OF NEXT WEEK!
I guess I have must been very good this year, because I got a very cool gift from Tignanello a few days ago. It seems the blogger elf must have told them I have a sweet spot for Italian leather bags.
I really like this Barrel Frost bag. The clean urban style can suit the everyday life of any woman. It is made of smooth leather, very soft and light. I have a few bags that look really good but, wow, they are so heavy. And that’s just the bags by themselves. You can imagine what they must weigh when I put all my required fashion blogger emergency makeup and repair supplies, my iPhone, keys, wallet, sunnies, a chocolate bar (well, maybe 2) and all the other totally necessary items in it. One day, my husband helped me carry one of them. He said it was heavier than his dumbbells! I told him his dumbbells couldn’t fix my mascara, send a text and start my car and he just might want to mind his own business and be happy I didn’t have him carry the bag while wearing 4 inch heels. Talk about a cardio workout!
The bag I am using in today’s post sells at QVC and Macy’s. It is currently on sale through QVC for $99.84 (colors available: Mushroom, Chianti, Dark Grey, Fatigue, Black, Navy) And at Macy’s on sale for $110.99 (colors available: Zinc, Chianti)
Personally, my favorite thing about this bag is the super-soft glove leather. The designers said that this is the first bag to use gunmetal hardware to give the bag a more modern, downtown feel. Of course I am very glad that it is so roomy and with an easy access outside pocket. I can see myself using this as my every day working purse. As you might imagine, I have a bit of a reputation at my day job for dressing well. And why not? I like to keep my fashion sense always set on maximum. It’s good practice for my blog and I do like to be prepared! You just never know when a red carpet might jump out in front of you!
