Kate Middleton favorite brand L.K. Bennett
The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, is such a modern icon from the British Royal Family. She brought a much needed breath of fresh air to not just this serious family, but also to the world. I am very sure I am not the only fan of her classy and lively style. One thing about her I really like is she supports local English designers and brands. She doesn’t just wear the most expensive labels, although she certainly could choose whatever and whomever she likes from around the world. I mean what brand anywhere wouldn’t love to be seen on a real live princess? But, instead, she continues wearing pieces from those local designers. And that is the real action of supporting.
Want to be like her? Then dig into her wardrobe to see what she is wearing. 😉 Obviously, she has a whole list of favorites, but one label she keeps repeating and recycling is L.K. Bennett. L.K. Bennett was founded in London in 1990. It is a luxury British brand that offers sophisticated collections of shoes, women’s wear and accessories to meet the lifestyle and requirements of every modern woman.
Kate’s worn a lot of L.K. Bennett shoes and clothing over the years. Below are some of the highlights of the products she has added to her closet.
Kate’s most famous L.K. Bennett shoes are the Sledge platform courts. She’s also worn the Floret, and the Fern shoes. And you may have seen her with some of these many clutch bags, dresses, jackets and coats from L.K. Bennett.
Ok, now that is enough about her. Let’s talk about ourselves. Who doesn’t want to look like someone that might sit on a throne in the future, right? Wearing fancy clothes and waving to the crowd. No? Don’t see that in your future? Fine, forget the waving then. But the throne, that could happen! At least we can wear the same thing that she loves. 😉 You may already have seen this Royal blue coat on me last week. Did you notice the word Royal? Well I feel like royalty when I’m wearing it for sure! 😉
Anyway, here are a few more looks that got my palace vibe going strong. And I can say for sure that they treated me like a Queen when I was at the L.K.Bennett Store at the Somerset Collection South in Troy, Michigan a few weeks ago.
I just have a thing about the tweed. Tweed jacket, tweed dress, tweed bag…Somehow it just speaks British and sophistication to me. 😉
There was no paparazzi that night. Well, unless you count my husband/photographer/chauffeur but I can’t really say he’s stalking me since I rode with him! I did enjoy pretending I was trying on the same clothes as my bff Kate, but it was only me daydreaming! There was no castle, no Royal Family, no crowd, no palace guards either. There were a couple mall cops that yelled at my husband for taking photos of the store though. I guess that’s sort of like the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace. Or maybe not. Oh well, back to reality. Below are a few more pieces that I am in love with. If you live in the Metro Detroit area then you’re in luck, because you can get an extra 10% off at the L.K.Bennett Store in Somerset Collection South. Just mention Grace Liang. I know, it is the first time I feel my name is worth something. 😉
Below are some suggestions for less than $100 to look like a future queen. 😉
