Easy to Wear Yellow Cutout-Back Shift Dress
You all know I am a petite women with a 5 feet-zero and 1/8 height and a bigger than average chest. 😉 I am not complaining about my bust size at all, but just wanted to make a point. Short and busty, is NOT a very good combination when it comes to fashion. Those features require some special attention to look right, instead of looking choppy.
For summer I stick with two type of dresses.
One, the fit and flare dress.
You can read Summer must have a white fit and flare dress and see more examples about why I said the fit and flare is the number one choice for any women. Not just petite ones.
Two, a shift dress.
Fit and flare dresses can be very dressy, so when I am just looking for something easy to wear, I always go for a shift dress. Because of the roomy and forgiving shape, my tummy still can still relax after a big dinner. 😉 You can read The Long Sleeved Shift Dress Your Best Friend for Fall from last year.
You all know that I love bold colors, so my Yellow Cutout-Back Shift Dress from Lookbook Store is the perfect choice for me. This time, I dressed it up with the red pumps and bag. It can be dressed down just as easily with a super comfy pair of flats and a fedora hat. I am planning to take this dress on my summer road trip later for some cool mornings and evenings in Michigan.
You probably have seen many things I got from Lookbook Store. And I have to say their trendy pieces have added so much welcome fun to my wardrobe.
If you haven’t noticed, here is a round up for you:
//lookbook Store grey studded jacket // lookbook store black lace-up bodysuit // Banana Republic leather skirt similar // Aldo black cutoff lace-up heels similar // Ray Ban sunglasses similar // Red Louis Vuitton bag similar//
Now you see how much I love those pieces. 😉 Do you love a shift dress? If you haven’t tried one yet, now is a good time for you to make the move and find something stylish and also comfortable for the hot summer days ahead of us.
