Cash back from Giving Assistant for your holiday shopping
It doesn’t matter whether you like it or not, the holiday season is just around the corner. My step-daughter already asked us about our Christmas list. 😉
I have done the majority of my gift shopping online nowadays. And recently I have tried the Giving Assistant website for their cash back shopping.
What is Giving Assistant?
Supplying online shoppers with cash back-, charitable-, and money-saving opportunities. Giving Assistant.org is a digital coupon marketplace launched in 2013. Users save money by utilizing the coupon and promo codes listed on the site. Every purchase results in a meal donated to the needy. Giving Assistant members have the ability to earn cash back, make money through a generous referral program, as well as donate cash back to the charities of their choice.
I was in need of a new Halloween costume and I really didn’t have the time to go shopping. So I found this one as you see on today’s post on Walmart.com. In order to earn some cash back, I went to Giving Assistant. When I clicked Walmart, it showed me the cash back rate as seen in the image below.
I placed the order and a few days later, I got an email showing that I earned 72 cents for this less than $20 shopping. You can see that below too.
I donated this little money to the Homeless Emergency Project. Maybe not much but when you add all the people that shop online, the potential good that can be done is huge!
This purchase was only a test run for me. I haven’t used the coupon function yet. I am quite excited about how much more that will save for us! Now I know how it works and I already planned to do all my holiday shopping by using this website. I feel good that I can donate to help others in need while I am getting a great deal. It reduces the guilty feeling I sometimes get when I am shopping and it even makes me proud of my purchase because the more I shop, the more I save and also help more people.
Just like the Giving Assistant promotion says :”Save money, support charity, shop responsibly” I think It fits right in my goal for this year, not only for just daily shopping, but also for the big chunk of this holiday’s shopping. Now check out Giving Assistant for yourself and feel good about your shop-ablity! 🙂
