Last minute unique gift idea with CaseApp
I have moved more than 30 times in my whole life and it is hard to call a place home. I was born in a very small rural village in NorthEast China. After I graduated, I ran to Shanghai to chase my dream. You can read more from About Me page.
After I moved to America, I often refer to Shanghai as my hometown when people ask me where I am from. I picked Shanghai, not because it is the biggest, coolest and funnest city to live in, although it’s all those things. And if you don’t know, yes, the photo on my computer is Shanghai. The real reason I call it home is because it is the first place I finally felt I belonged. In Shanghai, people treat women more as equals than in my little village. With hard work I earned a pretty good life by my own hands, and brain. 😉
The Golden building on the right hand cornor with the AURORA sign was the company where I learned how to be an effective and professional staff. After that, I became a training manager and H.R. manager for many years.
Eventually, I even met my husband in Shanghai. Again, in this Shanghai skyline photo, the river front area in front of the bottle opener shape building is where we met. It is a German beer garden. My husband and I had spent countless days sitting outside and watching all kinds of boats floating by on the Huangpu River. When you find the right person to share your happiness with, life is even better.
So leaving Shanghai and moving to Michigan, U.S.A was not very easy for me. But after 9 years, here has became my home too.
This cool computer skin is from CaseApp. I chose and designed it. For me, I like when the things I am using mean something to me. I have had a few things from CaseApp. This phone case has brought so much attention and it is a such a great conversion starter.
I also used the stickers from the same company to create this Patches look below. It was so fun to do a project like this.
