Relieve Stress and Soothe Aches and Pains with Vitl Waters®
This last month was the 10 year anniversary of me living in Michigan, but I feel like I only know a very small part of this place. Everyday I am learning something new about this place where I live. 😉
Have you heard the Vitl Waters story? I hadn’t until recent. During the mid-1800’s an old, gimpy horse in Mt. Clemens, Michigan spent time wallowing in the mud and water near an abandoned, leaky salt tank. Due to its contact with this mineral water, the horse’s limp declined. The secret in the mud has to go back to more than 600 million years ago during the earth’s paleozoic era, a shallow saltwater sea formed in the great lakes basin of what is now the united states. Over the course of time, the water slowly evaporated leaving behind multiple layers of thick, briny, mineral rich salts. The watery brine sat undisturbed for eons, permeating the ground and aquifers in the area, absorbing even more minerals. Those minerals are the healing power behind it.
Many Michigan residents don’t know about Mt. Clemens’ acclaimed history, including most of my family. Upon discovering this ancient water that healed a variety of ailments, town locals managed to spread the good news about this “miraculous” 34-mineral water worldwide.
In the early-1900’s, “Bath City” became a popular destination for the afflicted, as well as the rich and famous (Babe Ruth and Henry Ford to name a few) seeking the comfort of soothing, therapeutic baths.
Nowadays, those bath places became a photo in the history books, but luckily there is a local Michigan company called Vitl Waters who is carrying on and developed more new products to suit modern people’s needs using the same mineral water.
I have eczema and my Hawaii trip last month was not good for my skin. My entire waist area was red and achy because of my pants sitting right there. There was also a red underline from my bra. I used the Vitl Waters® Restorative Therapy Water when I took a bath. I usually soak for about 20 to 25 minutes. My skin was healing so quickly. The first thing I noticed was the ache reducing. After that the red bumps dispersed. I can’t show you the before and after, they are all in the very private areas. I am also a teacher and I don’t want to put those sort of photos on internet, 😉 so you have to just trust my words.
I have tried a few different products from them, but my all time favorite has to be this Vitl Waters® Ache Away® Gel Rub . I literally use it for anywhere on my body if it is sore or I have any discomfort. My skin is very sensitive to a lot of things. For example, non-silver or non-gold metal. The photos below shows how my ear lobe is red and swollen after wearing a fashion earring for just a few hours. The photo next to it is the next morning after I put some this magical gel on it.
I also relax in the tub with Vitl Waters Ache Away Bath Salts to relieve the stress of the day and the aches and pains that usually follow the stress. After taking a bath, I apply the soothing and refreshing Vitl Waters Ache Away Restorative Cream all over to refresh my skin and reduce aches and pains (hey, I am over 40!).
What do you use to relieve stress and soothe aches and pains?
