Wayne State University FDMO Annual Spring Fashion Show
Saturday, April 29th I was invited to the beautiful McGregor Memorial Conference Center in Detroit for the Wayne State University FDMO Annual Spring Fashion Show.
If you are not sure what the FDMO stands for, here is the explanation – the Fashion Design Merchandising Organization. I had heard of Wayne State University’s fashion major but it was my first time seeing their students fashion show. If I read it right, this is the 15th year of this “Expressions” fashion show. The entire show is student produced and I am pretty impressed with how organized and efficient the entire event was. There were 9 designers this year and they showecased their final projects for the show.
Below are several of my personal favorites:
I really admire their passion and hard work because I know how difficult this industry and business can be since I am trying to design my own pieces too. Great job to everyone and fashion on! 🙂
