Are you still following celebrities for fashion and style inspirations? Oh no! If so, you’re already out of date! 😉 In fact, nowadays fashion bloggers are the new cool kids on the block and already are at the leading edge of the trends all over the world.
This is my first week back to work, so I’ve been pretty overwhelmed. For today’s They Got It Right theme, I will just be a little bit lazy…BUSY! I meant to say busy there. Whew! Working hard over here! Don’t worry, I still made time to show you some more Shanghai Street style. You can read here and here for some previous Shanghai street styles. I will TRY to get back to my normal theme next week. Unless I’m too tired…BUSY! I have GOT to pay more attention when I’m typing! 😉
Did you notice we are not the only country addicted to Smartphones? I see a LOT of texting and walking going on over there! 😉
Below is more of my new look for today. A summer dress with a trench coat and booties. I am ready (well fashion wise but maybe not mentally) to move from summer to fall. You can read here about how I use trench coats year round. Have a great Friday! 🙂
My favorite season has always been Spring. I love the lively energy it brings back to our lives and world after the long cold freeze. It just always makes me smile and feel happy. But fall on the other hand had the opposite effect. It seemed that it meant the end of the season of things growing and green grass and colorful flowers. It always felt sad and hopeless. Only a few years ago I was still thinking this way. But somehow, and I’m not sure what exactly happened but, I am OK with the fall season now. It is just another season and there are a lot of fun things to do as well. I’ve already got cider mills, apple picking and the Renaissance Festival on my calendar! Which is your favorite season?
This is the first normal working week for me after my summer break, so I have been super busy. I will start to answer your comments after I am more comfortable with my lesson plans and the new school year. So please still leave your comments below because it is always the most enjoyable part about being a blogger. 🙂
I am very happy that Summer seems like is still here this last week. In Michigan we had a whole week with about 90 degree days. I wore this outfit to visit my father-in-law who lives in Michigan and sister-in-law who was visiting from her California home. Somehow a super hot day just always feels like wearing white is more suitable.
Black and white can be very serious so I usually like to use a third color or pattern to break the stiffness down. This time I used my new favorite leopard bag to do this job. I also paired with some nude pumps to create a longer and leaner silhouette.
For transitioning to fall, I just added a long black vest to create a layer for keeping me warm in the early morning or chilly evenings.
What is your secret weapon to use when you are easing from summer to fall? I use a lot of vests or trench coats.
I will let my photos speak more this time and don’t forget to join the Color and Grace Fashion Link up below. Have a great day! 🙂
