I am surprised to say, it is the first time I am doing an all white winter look.

Do you love the feather trimmed faux leather skirt? If you have been following me for a while, you should have seen this skirt before. I added the feather trim myself and I love the result too.

3 Colors Rule::Black+Brown+Red

3 Colors Rule::Black+Brown+Red

French women may not agree with me, but I always like the 3 colors rule to create an outfit. It is simply because more colors are adding on more dimensions to a look. Different layers, textures and colors bring the excitement to an outfit.

3 Colors Rule::Black+Brown+Red

For this look, I like to keep natural but still fun, so I started it with the sweater. There are already two colors, so I just needed to add the 3rd one. I love contrasting colors as well. For example, light color with dark color. Since the brown is pretty light, I picked black as the 3rd color.

After this color theme was decided, it became very easy to put them together.

3 Colors Rule::Black+Brown+Red

I wanted a natural look but with fun color pops, so I picked a brown coat instead of black or red. Black would be too serious and red would be too bold. The center piece of this look is the sweater and I don’t want anything else to compete against it.

Since there is already so much brown in this look, I used black for the pants. For a more edgy look, faux leather is always the best to bring out attitude. Next, I added on the hat to echo the casual and fun vibe from the sweater. For finishing touches, I just chose two-tone sunglasses and a bag. I feel the red on the sweater is just the right amount of color splash for this look.
