Spring break Cancun resort style outfit tips
Yayyyyyy! Today is the last day before my spring break. Now THAT’S something to celebrate, right? Actually, it’s worth a week long celebration. Well, my husband says that I am usually a party pooper, but this time, count me in! And I mean all in for my Cancun trip! 🙂
I am working on packing now and you will see my live report if you follow me on my IG and FB account. 😉 But meanwhile, here is a recap of posts and photos about what to wear for a resort vacation from last year when I was there.
Wondering what to wear at the airport? This may help you a little bit. SPRING BREAK CANCUN TIPS—WHAT TO WEAR AT THE AIRPORT
I like to travel light. Read how you can too here SPRING BREAK CANCUN TIPS—WHAT TO PACK FOR A ONE WEEK BEACH ALL INCLUSIVE VACATION for some useful tips. With no such thing as free luggage nowadays, you may just save some money by reading this. It’s true, I really am a full service blogger! 😉 Here are a few resort style looks:
Overall, a flowy dress is always a good fit. If you can find one with enough lining and support, maybe you can even give that hot sweaty bra it’s own vacation. It’s always nice not to be so strapped in during those 90 degree days. And don’t forget to bring enough bottles of sun screen to see you through. There is about a 1,000% markup at the resorts. We haven’t had a lot of trouble personally but have heard some horror stories so we always pack several wet napkin wipes of mosquito repellant. They are easy to carry and again, if you decide to buy there, will cost you a small fortune. The last but not least, (in fact it’s pretty much number one on my husband’s list) is your own insulated and covered drinking mug. At these all inclusive resorts if you don’t bring your own you get the cheap plastic cups that let your drink get warm by the time you get back to your poolside lounge chair. We had our double walled plastic mugs which can hold a lot more, kept cold things cold and carried around with us pretty much all day.
Where is your spring break destination? What are you going to wear? Don’t forget to share with us.
Thank you for reading and have a great day!
