Dream but do not sleep clothing

My nephew Combo (not his real name but what he prefers to be called!) is 21 years old and he lives in China with all my other family members.
Combo is that type of person who was born with a lovable personality. He was super cute when he was very little. I almost never heard him crying and he was always smiling. After he woke up from his nap, he would just lay quietly playing with his two little feet, putting them into his mouth or kicking around. One day, when he was only 3 years old, he said he wanted to go shopping with me. I told him I would not be able to carry him if he got tired. I mean no one is THAT cute! Anyway, he said that is ok and he still wanted to go. After we arrived at the mall, he was very happy and even more excited after his favorite auntie got him an ice-cream. It doesn’t matter that I am his only auntie, I would have been the favorite regardless. Anyway about a half hour later, I saw he was walking a lot slower. 15 minutes after that, he said he needed to squat down for a short break. I thought maybe he needed to use the restroom but he said he was OK. I don’t have my own kids and have never been a babysitter so I was clueless. After several times of these squat breaks I finally realized that he might actually be tired. He sure was! I felt horrible that I didn’t even notice. He said he was ok and just needed a little break. That whole day he never asked me to pick him up or finish my shopping early so I could take him home. He has always been this little mature man his whole life.

Since Combo was not much older than when we took that shopping trip, he’s always tried to take care of me and to be the best he can. When he was in the 4th grade, my sister-in-law called me to tell me Combo was crazy in love with hip-hop dancing. She hoped I could talk him out of it but I decided to support him. He worked very hard and now he is a pretty famous hip-hop dancer and DJ in our hometown area. He even started his own business selling hip-hop apparel.

That is why I said OK when DREAM BUT NOT SLEEP asked me if I would like to collaborate with them. This brand reminds me of Combo. They have so many things in common. Young and creative, originality and never giving up!

DREAM BUT NOT SLEEP is a forward thinking independent UK streetwear brand with firm roots in the electronic dance music scene and with a strong focus on original design, premium quality, and attention to detail. They gained support from Joey Bada$$, Andy C, Flume, Ben Pearce, xxxy, Synkro, Addison Groove, Pedestrian, Kashii and Happa.

They are made in England and include free international shipping if you spend more than £100.
What do you think of my Got Munchies T-Shirt? Let’s hear a shout out for young talent and all have a fun day! That’s what Combo would do!

Love the outfit! And, yes, we as adults sometimes get too lost in “reality” and the risks and “what ifs” of life that we forget to be creative. People like Combo are a refreshing breath and it is with them that there is any change in life.

Well said Mai! So happy to see you here! 🙂
