Are you a big fan of pink? I never was. No, not the singer, she’s awesome! I mean the color of course. Anyway, in recent years I started to appreciate this color more and more. Especially the light pink, or as some people call it, blush. Sometimes it’s so soft I call it the barely there pink color. What I really like about it is that it’s quite feminine but still very chic.
When I was young, I never felt that I was a girly girl. It just seemed so far from who I was. My brother was my best friend and he helped me with my early fashion sense. Of course if you asked him about this he’d deny it bigtime! He had his work cut out for him though. His little sister was quite a tomboy. I liked to act and dress tough. Well eventually I became a bit more comfortable in my more traditional gender role and much to my brother’s relief a lot of drama and conflict was gone. So he was very happy when it was time for me to man up and admit that I am a girl!
Pink is still not one of the majority colors in my wardrobe but slowly I’ve started to build that part of the palette. And I can prove it! Here are some other pink looks from the past.
I also like to use pink as an accessory.
Hmmm, now that I’m seeing how many pink outfits I do have, I may need to do a recount. It seems that maybe Team Pink is representing after all! Doesn’t matter. Just to make sure, I am still getting more. Like I said sometimes this color is so soft you can’t even be sure it’s there. Hey, I may have counted wrong! So in the interest of fairness, thoroughness and shopping I feel it’s my duty as a fashion blogger to error on the side of safety. As you see, I’ve added a new member of the team in today’s new outfit. It is from SHEIN again. I already have one coat from them that I just love. You can see the post about that coat here. Because that piece has become my go to item of outerwear, I had to get more. 😉
This Pink Casual Lapel Faux Fur Coat is only $24.89. I always wanted a pink fur coat so when I saw it I was pretty excited. If you would like to order the same coat, you need to know it is not for the Arctic. It looks quite thick but in fact the material is very thin and lightweight. But for this time of year, I wear my cashmere sweater underneath and it’s not only perfectly warm but also perfectly fashionable. I usually wear a small and it is true to size.
Below are more looks from today. Don’t forget I host linkups every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. So stop by to join us. Have a great day everybody!
