Michigan 2016 Walk fashion show
There are a few big fashion shows in Michigan every year and the Walk Fashion show is one of them. Being a fashion blogger, of course I must go. Especially now that I am also a TV co-host of fashion at TV 20 What’s Up Detroit. Our show is actually one of the sponsors of Walk so I really need to go. If you missed last Wednesday’s post announcing this new change in my life, You can read WHAT’S UP DETROIT? A TV HOST!.
This show was held at Detroit’s Eastern Market last Sunday. That was a busy day for us. First we had our What’s Up Detroit Season 2 viewing party and also filmed more. After that our camera was running out of juice. I was back stage waiting to go on the runway to promote our TV show so I missed most of the walks. But I hung out with my crew and below are some photos.
Based on what I saw, I have to say I am very proud of Michigan again because there are so many talents here. Below are some of the videos and my favorite looks.
Do you like the black choker I wore for this outfit? I wrote a post about this comeback trend THE BEST CHOKER NECKLACE TRENDS HOW TO WEAR A CHOKER. This choker is from a local Michigan fashion designer Diana Cholakova. She creates unique handmade one-of-a-kind pieces of wearable art. Her line is called Diana’s FairyTale Jewelry.
I am running a giveaway of one black choker, one hat and one bag as you can see below which were all hand-made by Diana. The requirments are easy, please follow Diana on her facebook, follow me on my Instagram, leave a comment below and repost or retweet. Good luck!
Some suggestions for the red dress and bow heels under $100.
