With the holidays fast approaching, I have received many questions about what to wear to all kinds of holiday parties, gatherings and events. So below are a few looks that I have personally worn during the holiday seasons. Sure, a little black dress is always on par for the party scene, but who says dressing for the holiday has to be so cut and dry? I prefer happy colors for the happy time. 😉 I hope both of my looks will give you some ideas of what to wear.
I also receive many questions about gift suggestions. The typical, more traditional ideas are just not making the cut anymore. We need some unique, cool and unexpected ideas. Well, the 3 years I’ve spent on my blogging career are seriously paying off because I have tested many products and I know just what to give, and what to put on my own holiday wish list. 😉
There are so many women who have perfect hair, makeup and outfits but their feet are so dry and maybe even cracked. How do I know? Because I used to be one of them! 😉 The first time I was embarrassed by my own feet was many years ago when I was shopping for shoes. There was a very elegant woman right next me trying on the same pair of shoes, so I couldn’t help but peek at her feet. I felt ashamed because of my feet. I had neglected my feet all summer long, and had thick calluses on both heels. Her feet had smooth skin and nicely filed nails. The exact same pair of sandals looked so much better on her. From that moment on, I decided to really take care of myself from head to toes.
Taking care of your feet is a year-long routine. Going to salons for pedicures is the solution we usually hear about, but it is typically expensive and time-consuming, so I have been looking for some foot-care products that I can use at home. Thankfully, I found this Amopé Pedi Perfect Extra Coarse Electronic Foot File at Walgreens. To be honest with you, I was not sure if this thing would really work, or if it would hurt my feet.
It only took one use to notice a difference. I have been to the salon every month, but recently I have also been to the gym regularly, so my feet are getting quite rough. You can see the photos below to compare before and after.
This foot file buffed away my dry skin very effortlessly. I gently guided the Amopé Pedi Perfect Electronic Foot File around the problem areas on my feet. It turned out to be super easy! The extra coarse roller head with long lasting micro-abrasive particles now comes with finely ground diamond crystals. It buffs away hard skin leaving you with visibly and touchably smooth feet. Just make sure you don’t accidentally buff any of your painted nails, it will leave scratches on them. 😉
You can see from the photo below how much skin it buffed off.
Immediately after, I washed my feet because you will be left with dust from your dead skin you just buffed off. Then I followed up by applying foot cream moisturizer. My feet look so much better after all the quick pampering. It was like a mini at-home pedicure.
All of that walking, exercising and stress to our feet really starts to show up as we get older. Once it does show up, it can seem virtually impossible to get rid of it. It doesn’t matter if you’re a man or woman, Amopé Pedi PerfectExtra Coarse Electronic Foot File is easy to use, cost-effective, and achieves comparable results to professional salons. The Amopé Pedi Perfect comes with one replacement roller and 4 AA batteries to get you started.
Be sure you clean it after each use. You easily take the roller off and just run water over it. I wipe the body of the Amopé Pedi Perfect down with a wet paper towel. It only takes a minute to do and will make your unit last much longer. Just be sure not run the entire unit under the water because it’s not waterproof!
I think Amopé Pedi Perfect Extra Coarse Electronic Foot File is the perfect item for gift-giving, or to put on your own wish list. Not a fan of the color pink or want to use it in water? Amopé has another product similar to the Pedi Perfect Extra Coarse Electronic Foot File called Amopé Wet & Dry Rechargeable Foot File that comes in blue. If you buy it at Walgreens, it can be difficult to find. Make sure to look for it at the foot care aisle. Now you can use this coupon for Amopé Pedi Perfect Extra Coarse Electronic Foot File to save $10 or save $15 for the Pedi Perfect Wet & Dry Rerchargeable version. Use the coupon between 12/4/17 through12/25/17.
