March means spring is coming. But for our Michiganders, it is not so true. We may still get 6 inches snow in April. I remember one year all the little kids had to find the Easter eggs under the snow in their back yard. 😉
While we are waiting on spring to actually arrive, most of the major stores already started their end of winter season sale. Usually in March, those sales have deep discounts. If you know what you love, or what will be still hot next winter, right now is the best time to score a few things for next year.
I am betting on the oversized puffer coats, or jackets will be still hot next winter. Why I say that? Based on 2018 spring/summer trends, the sport style is still on top of the list. The oversized puffy jacket, popular back in the ’80s and ’90s before becoming synonymous with ski dads and tourists. I think the sport trend will continue and there will be nothing more sporty than a puffer for cold days.
I have to say, this type of coats are a bit tricky to wear. It is quite easy to make you look so much bigger than you really are. Especially being a petite girl, you may disappeared in an oversized puffer. 😉 As a petite woman myself, I like to wear a puffer with a skinny jeans or over-the-knee boots. Anyway, wear something is very fit and slim to balance out with the puffy silhouette.
I hope those tips are helpful and good luck with clearance treasure hunt! 🙂
