This post is in partnership with CoolSculpting.
It’s that time of the year again when I take a look back on the previous year to see how much I have achieved. This year, I have learned how to live alone in a healthy and happy manner. I have also learned to reward myself and give myself gifts from time to time. One of the best gifts that I have given myself this year is trying out the CoolSculpting treatment. I had been struggling with some stubborn areas of body fat that would not respond to normal exercise and diet. Trouble areas such as my tummy refused to slim down regardless of the amount of clean eating or how many planks I did. Every time I would do a photo shoot, I would have to tell my photographer to “remind me to tuck in my tummy!” Lol! My dream was to someday be able to wear a tight little black dress like the one I am currently wearing in this post without worrying about my tummy sticking out!
If you have never heard about CoolSculpting, here is some info for you. 😉 Developed by Harvard scientists, CoolSculpting is a non-surgical, clinically proven treatment that selectively reduces stubborn fat using a patented cooling technology. Cleared by the FDA, CoolSculpting works by gently cooling targeted fat cells in the body to induce a natural, controlled elimination of fat cells without affecting surrounding tissue, the treated fat cells are gone for good. There have been millions of CoolSculpting treatments performed in more than 80 countries. CoolSculpting is available through a network of CoolSculpting Centers worldwide. You can find dermatologists, plastic surgeons and aesthetic specialists that offer CoolSculpting at www.coolsculpting.com.
Back in August, I went to visit Dr. Boyd in downtown Birmingham, Michigan to get my first consultation and treatments. My experience with Dr. Boyd and his esthetician, Kayla, was very pleasant and they knew how to make me feel relaxed. After the consultation, we all agreed to focus on getting my upper and lower abdomen done, along with my bra fat area. Initially, I could feel the suction and coldness, but it quickly faded to numbness. After the treatment, I was able to resume my usual life activities right away. Call me crazy, but I went to gym and did a one-hour, high intensity workout as well as one hour of yoga almost immediately after my first treatment! Lol! I like that the CoolSculpting treatment is a completely non-surgical, clinically proven, safe way to freeze away stubborn fat for good with little to no downtime. You can read my experience about my first CoolSculpting treatment here for more details.
Since my first treatment, I have kept a consistent, healthy lifestyle that involves eating healthy and regular trips to the gym. After about six weeks, I started to notice my pants and skirts getting looser which required me to go shopping more. Of course I am not complaining since it feels great to be back to a size Small and size Zero. When I went back to receive my second treatment about two months later, my esthetician, Kayla, was so pleased with the results from the first treatment. Lol, Me too! My second treatment was just like the first one; a very easy process and I went back to my normal lifestyle like nothing had happened. When my business started to get busier in the weeks to come, I had less time to hit the gym. Since my diet was still semi-healthy, my tummy still looked fantastic compared to what it looked like before. Look below to see all the Before/After photos with your own eyes!
Since I have done the CoolSculpting treatment, there are many people who have asked me the same question, “Does it work?” My answer is always the same, “Yes!” Keep in mind though that CoolSculpting is not for those who want to lose weight. This treatment is meant for people who already have a healthy lifestyle, but are unable to get rid of stubborn fat areas that do not respond to diet and exercise. If you are not going to exercise and eat healthy, you may not see the best results from this treatment. So are you ready to give yourself the gift of getting the body you always wanted for the new year?
