Chinese street style Shanghai June 2015
My student told me I MUST watch the show called FRESH OFF THE BOAT. I watched a couple of episodes and kinda liked it. Just in case you don’t know anything about it, here is a very brief intro. Fresh Off the Boat is a comedy series that is inspired by the life of chef and food personality Eddie Huang and his book Fresh Off the Boat: A Memoir. It is the first American television situation comedy starring an Asian-American family. Since I am going to show you the newest street style from Shanghai, I felt it can be a relative title for it! Maybe!;)
When I lived in Shanghai, I used to love the people watching. I would walk on the sidewalks or in the department stores and dream of being fashionable and stylish like the women I would see. Anyway, you have probably seen a lot of street style photos about the western world. Now here are some Chinese Street Style Take-Outs for you! 🙂
Black, white and grey, all the big cities are the on the same color panel.
Double the style:
Finally we see some colors! Let’s end it with a colorful note as always.
If you’d like to see more, I recently came across a great blog that features Shanghai Street Style pictures. As an extra bonus, all the writing is in Chinese so you can practice your Mandarin while you’re checking out the pictures! 😉 上海时尚街拍 2015-06-19 & 06-20
