How To Wear A Kaftan—the boho style
I talked about “How to wear a Kaftan—the chic and edgy style” last week. Today I am going to talk about the casual look, the boho style.
Kaftan tops are great for casual wear and come in many different colors and designs. Honestly I had such a hard time to pick mine on Kaftans by Silk and More. Just because there are so many great choices that I like and it is difficult to narrow them down. But after a while, I decided to go big or go home by choosing the very bold color and print you see here.
Do you like my “FRILL LOVERS” KAFTAN IN BIG BUTTERFLY PATTERN top? I am madly in love with yellow this year. And who can say no to beautiful butterflies, right? And the cute sleeve design is so right now. You may already have seen the large variety of big sleeves trends this year.
In my last post I mentioned one feature at Kaftans by Silk and More I really like. This was where you can pick the length that you like. After you input your own height, you can also choose the length of the garment you would like to order. You can pick from shirt, tunic, short dress, knee length, tea dress and ankle length. So that means, for this top I ordered, you can pick a dress if you like. How cool and incredibly useful is that?
Note From Designer:
I love frills and ruffles and always wanted to incorporate them in my creations. To my delight, I discovered how much they can enhance beauty of kaftans when making this design. This is a very simple kaftan enhanced by leaps and bounds by adding frills on the cuffs of its sleeves. Not only do I enjoy designing the kaftan but also enjoy choosing the fabric as much; for this style I chose Big Butterfly fabric in Yellow which compliments the frilly nature of the kaftan.
I could feel the same delight when I laid my eyes on this top. So vivid and happy! I paired this top with my brown leather skirt and brown fringe leather boots to create the perfect boho vibe for fall. Like I mentioned in my previous post. Kaftans by Silk and More uses very good materials. My top is 100% mulmul cotton (fine quality and extremely soft, gets softer with every wash). I didn’t even steam it after I received it. I just hung it up and all the wrinkles were just gone. How convenient!
