Channel your Inner Child with Clara In Wonderland
I have been dreaming of being in a wonderland somewhere that is full of bold and happy colors, bright smiles and beautiful music for a long, long time. Do you still have those childhood dreams? Those dreams sound silly but it is a safe place for me to escape from the serious troubles and worries of real life sometimes.
In my dream, I am a princess. Of course, not your ordinary princess. I am the free spirited, wild and happy little girl. Maybe because of this dream, I always love a fun outfit over a pretty look. Just like this dark but romantic skirt from Clara In Wonderland
The same kinds of views of fashion brought me and Clara Longobardo together. We met on the Magical Make-believe world that we all know as Instagram. She likes my style and I love her designs. So we often comment on each other’s posts.
I am a Chinese fashion blogger who lives in America and she is a creative designer living in Tuscany, Italy. Thanks to the internet, we can meet anyone in the world now, right in our own home. 😉
Clara’s company/brand is called Clara In Wonderland. This is a small company and they do not mass-produce their products. Instead, they only produce some high quality and individualized pieces.
All the pieces offered by Clara In Wonderland are made by Italian artisans. There are 4 levels of outfits in their lines. The basics, the “Decorative Elements”, the semi structured and the scupltured pieces. I love the last two lines of her work very much. They are so dramatic but with a fun twist.
Below are some more details about Clara and her designs.
“I am Clara Longobardo, I am the fashion designer and the creative mind behind the designs and production. I studied at Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze (Florence, Italy) and worked in the theater for many years.
I decided to bring to the world of fashion what my journey through the world of theater had gifted me. My intent is to connect these two different universes, the fashion and the theater, and construct my own little cosmos.
My husband is the photographer and the one who takes care of marketing, advertising and everything is connected with the image of the company. In our company we research a-vanguard fabrics as well as buttons, zippers, accents and symmetry of each and every outfit. Our goal is to make our clients feel special in this imaginary voyage of style.
Just like in Alice, Through the Looking Glass, a book that inspired me to imagine this is a wonderful world where everything is possible and where our clients can feel satisfied in a land where their dreams can come true. We truly hope that you like our products as much as we do and we are looking forward to being a part of your story.”
Here are a few looks that I really have had my eye on for a long time on Clara In Wonderland.
