This past weekend, I went on a wine tasting trip to celebrate my birthday in Traverse City, Michigan and had a great time. I planned to write about what to wear to a winery in the spring. But the weather there was still stuck in winter.;) Have you ever been a wine tasting trip during the winter?
It’s easy to pack for a winery in the summer (flowy dress, sunhat and sandals of course!) but in the cold winter, it can be trickier! Since it was only two nights stay and a four-hour drive each way, I packed really light. My main focus was on being comfortable and stylish. It was snowing most of the days there and I was very happy that I packed this super warm and colorful coat. It adds the colors that I like and keeps me warm at the same time. A pair of very comfy leggings and flats are the safest way to walk on snow and ice there.
For the wine tasting day, since everything was indoor, I decided to be more stylish.
Wine tasting somehow always makes me want to dress up, below are more suggestions that you can wear if you are going to visit the winery during the cold weathers.
Other than amazing wine, great food, I also went to visit the frozen lake and the cute lighthouse. I was so in love with the blue sky, I had to jump to express my excitement! Lol!
What are you going to wear for your winter wine tasting trip?
You can read all the See The World here. You can also read all my What To Wear series including what I have worn when I traveled around the world and for special occasions. Hope those posts will be helpful for you! 🙂
